Loadwala is operated by Loadwala Private Limited ("Loadwala", "we", "us"), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Website visits. When you open loadwala.in we record the page, the referring site, your device type and browser, and the approximate city of your connection, on our own servers. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not store your IP address.

• Account details — your mobile number (your login identity), name, preferred language, business name, and base location.
• Business verification details — vehicle registration (RC) details you submit, and where you choose to provide them, company registration, GST, PAN, or Aadhaar-based KYC details. We store verification outcomes, not copies of Aadhaar numbers beyond the last four digits.
• Marketplace activity — loads you post, rates you offer or accept, trips you run, and delivery milestones including proof-of-delivery photos you capture.
• Location during trips — with your explicit consent, the driver app records the vehicle's position while a trip is running, to power live tracking. Tracking stops when the trip ends and can be declined per trip.
• Device and log data — basic technical logs (device type, app version, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service.

What we use it for

• Signing you in (one-time passwords to your mobile number) and keeping your account secure.
• Checking every load before carriers see it, choosing which verified carriers see Loadwala's listing of it, coordinating pickups, and running trips end to end.
• Verifying vehicles and businesses — only verified accounts see loads — so the marketplace stays trustworthy.
• Live tracking links you choose to share, which expire when the trip completes.
• Support, dispute resolution, invoicing, and meeting legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

• Carriers, when you post a load — carriers see Loadwala's listing of your load: the route, dates, truck and goods as our team publishes them, under a name our team chooses (normally Loadwala) and at a rate our team sets. They do not see your name, your phone number or the rate you posted before the load is awarded. Once it is awarded, the e-way bill we generate for the trip names you as the consignor, with your GSTIN and the consignee details you entered, and the winning carrier can see it.
• The other side of your trip — only what is needed to run it. Our team coordinates pickups; your phone number is shared with a counterparty only when a trip requires direct contact.
• Service providers — infrastructure hosting and SMS/WhatsApp delivery partners (for example, our OTP delivery provider), bound to use data only to provide their service to us.
• Authorities — where Indian law requires it.

Retention and your rights

Trip, verification and transaction records are retained as required for legal, tax and dispute purposes. You may ask us to correct your details, export your data, or delete your account — write to info@loadwala.in from your registered contact. We respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your personal details from active systems; records we must keep by law are retained only as long as the law requires.
