Terms of Service
Last updated 5 October 2026 · applies to the Loadwala mobile app and loadwala.in
These terms are an agreement between you and Loadwala Private Limited ("Loadwala", "we"), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By creating an account or using Loadwala you accept them.
1. What Loadwala is
Loadwala is a freight coordination platform. Businesses post full-truck-load requirements in the Loadwala app or through our team. Our team checks every load before any carrier sees it, publishes it as a Loadwala listing to the verified truck owners, drivers, brokers and transporters it chooses, and may decline to list a load. Carriers offer to carry listed loads; our team confirms placements and coordinates pickups. Loadwala acts as an intermediary and freight coordinator — we arrange transportation through independent carriers and are not the owner of the vehicles that carry your goods, except where expressly stated for a given trip.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be 18 or older and use a mobile number you control. Keep your login (OTP, PIN) to yourself; activity on your account is your responsibility.
- Information you submit — identity, vehicle, business and document details — must be true, current and yours to share. Misrepresentation (including submitting another party's RC or forged documents) leads to suspension and may be reported.
3. Posting loads and offering rates
- A posted load is a genuine request to move the stated goods on the stated lane and date. The rate you post is the amount you agree to pay on placement.
- Loadwala checks every load before any carrier sees it. We may present it to carriers as our own listing — under the Loadwala name or another name we choose, with details we have edited, and at a rate we set — and we choose which verified carriers see it. Carriers do not see your name or the rate you posted before the load is awarded; once it is awarded, the e-way bill for the trip names you as the consignor to the winning carrier. You always see your load in the app as you posted it. We may decline to list a load, and when we do we tell you why.
- Only verified accounts can see and bid on loads. Carriers commit to a listing as Loadwala publishes it: a bid on a listing, or taking a fixed-rate load, is a genuine commitment to carry that load at that amount. If we change a listing's terms, stop showing it to you or take it down, your open bid on it is cancelled. When our platform assigns a load, the assignment at the winning rate is binding; repeated withdrawal or no-shows affect your standing and may lead to suspension.
- Rates shown on loadwala.in before booking are indicative estimates. The binding figure is the one confirmed at placement.
4. Payments
Unless agreed otherwise in writing for your account: no advance to book; 90% of the confirmed rate is payable on loading and 10% on receipt of the proof of delivery. Carrier settlements are targeted within 2 working days of verified delivery. Statutory taxes apply as invoiced.
5. Carriage, risk and documents
- Goods must be lawful, correctly declared, and packed fit for road carriage. Restricted or hazardous goods require prior written agreement.
- Carriers must run trips with valid RC, permits, insurance and a licensed driver, and keep trip milestones updated in the app, including capturing the POD at delivery.
- Consignors are responsible for insuring their goods in transit unless expressly agreed otherwise. Loadwala's aggregate liability for any trip is limited to the freight charges for that trip, to the maximum extent Indian law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
6. Tracking and communications
Trip tracking runs with driver consent and powers shareable tracking links that expire at trip end. By using Loadwala you consent to receiving service communications (OTPs, trip updates) by SMS, WhatsApp or phone call on your registered number.
7. Acceptable use
No scraping, probing or disrupting the platform; no circumventing the platform to avoid confirmed obligations; no abusive conduct toward our team or other users. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where practicable.
8. Changes and termination
You can stop using Loadwala and ask us to close your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for data handling). We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory law to the contrary.
